I completely understand sending her somewhere else if she just wasn't ready for the content. Totally Understandable. Was it wrong for you to send her somewhere else? No. Becasue waht will happen is that will happen to you someday. What goes around comes around.

Ha! Yes. I can see how you'd make light of sending her to an affiiate site. I was being honest about that.

However, if it wasn't the best site I know where people can get started on the right foot and quickly, I'd have sent her somewhere else that was (if indeed, there was such a place).

The reason I feel so strongly about the site I sent her to is why I'm an affiliate. It wouldn't make any sense at all for me to be an affiliate of a site I didn't recognize or a site that I didn't already know well and believe in.

Could I have sent her to a naked link? Sure. Should I have? Hmm... That's a point for discussion. However, we're still business people, after all. :-)

I think that we should try to get the confidence of our customers. Maybe they don't undestand our business, but if they trust us there is no need for them to understand everything. They can trust us and we don't have to stop making money.

I couldn’t help but giggle the entire time I read this, not to be rude, but I do believe that although you sent her to a affiliate site, you were still being self-serving but you already pointed that out that you shouldn’t use peoples trust to your advantage only to loose it. That’s the beauty about affiliate sites and referrals in general (that you do get a commission for) they can build a little community of similar-themed people geared towards helping people, this lady is on the right track now and may even return to your site when she is more advanced. She may even return your comment and call you a sweet heart.

The auther is very very honest person. It is rare that you turn someone down. I totally agree with the auther that be smart instead of money smart. If people trust you than they will come to you sooner or later. Good work, keep going
