Do you know Deremiah?
Well… I met Deremiah in email one happy day. He’s on my list, you see, and he wrote to me asking, “What can I do for you?”
That’s like awesome! Usually it’s can you promote my whatever or what can I do for others. I don’t mind doing for others, not at all, and I try to help the people on my list whenever I can. They’re great!
But Deremiah comes to you with his generosity and caring, and he’s just a great person to know.
He called me on my birthday and gave me a “Stevie Wonder” style “Happy Birthday” song and just blew me away. (I told him he should be on American Idol.)
Well, he’s just a great guy, and he knows how to make people feel good about themselves, which is an awesome quality.

it’s supposed to be what can I do for you. But I’ll let you slide this time since it’s all about people knowing they have a right to be FREE to SMILE and BE HAPPY. You know the only reason why I called you up that day to sing Happy Birthday? Well it was because I wanted to —see you SMILE—. You look so pretty when you smile Pat. Gurrrl you know you should never, ever, ever, e-v-e-r need a CUSTOMER! Why? Because you treat people soooo-o-o-o-oooo good!!! And everybody loves being treated good.
If only good business people just knew what you already know Pat…That all a customer truly wants from you is to be treated good, to be smiled at and for you to hold their hand through the process. I love you Pat! You’re the Greatest!

Thanks for this! I needed it this week. I wish i knew how to create a link to the video for my desktop so i could look at this again as needed.
I just got started with your list and blog, but i would agree with Deremiah — you got it goin’ on Pat.
I’ve never hooked up with someone who first said to me “tell me how i can help you.” (like you did) It’s always — “welcome, buy this new product and you’ll get rich overnight.” You seem very honest and sincere. I have enjoyed learning from you so far.

Thanks for sharing - I agree, most people really just seem to be out there looking for what they can get out of me. It is refreshing to hear that some people still care about how they can help other people.
