Do you know Deremiah?
Well… I met Deremiah in email one happy day. He’s on my list, you see, and he wrote to me asking, “What can I do for you?”
That’s like awesome! Usually it’s can you promote my whatever or what can I do for others. I don’t mind doing for others, not at all, and I try to help the people on my list whenever I can. They’re great!
But Deremiah comes to you with his generosity and caring, and he’s just a great person to know.
He called me on my birthday and gave me a “Stevie Wonder” style “Happy Birthday” song and just blew me away. (I told him he should be on American Idol.)
Well, he’s just a great guy, and he knows how to make people feel good about themselves, which is an awesome quality.

Wow… Where do the days go? It seems like I’ve been back to work for a month, and it’s only been five days.
Not that I don’t love every minute of what I do because it is tons of fun, but the weekends are even more fun because I get to do and investigate stuff of my own.
This weekend, I have to prepare for a call I’m doing for Erik Stafford. That will be fun. We really had a blast on the call he did for me this week. So, I’m looking forward to that. If you want to hear the replay of Erik’s call with me, just go to http://easyseotricks.com/Erik . I’ll post information about the call I’m doing for him here ASAP.
We also had a product launch at Overcome Everything this week, and unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you know it’s Whack the Recession. You can check that out at http://easyseotricks.com/whack Great product! Smart advice and from Tellman, Harris, and Shawn. (Who didn’t know that?) I had to get transcripts made last weekend for it, so I can tell you it’s A-#1, the Duke. If you’re struggling to make money online, you really need to check it out.
I remember what struggling was like. I thought I’d NEVER make a dime because I just kept trying and trying and nothing was happening. Then, I met Tellman and my life is very, very different from what it was like two years ago.
I remember last year at this time, too. I was doing some consulting for Overcome Everything and ran into a cool guy named Don Griffiths. I’m doing a deal with him next week, so keep your eyes peeled for that. He’s a smart guy and he’s made tons and tons of progress since last year. Why? Because he took ACTION and now his list is exploding!
That’s the word, you know–A-C-T-I-O-N.
If you buy a bunch of stuff and don’t read it, listen to it, or watch it, or if you do and just don’t do anything about it, what’s your deal? I mean, are you going to be successful at this?
Hell, no. You’ll never be successful at anything. You can’t win if you’re not even in the game!
Take action to make it happen. If you want some periodic ass kicking, then just sign up for my list. :-) I totally want to work with you.
So, I’m off! Get your stuff in gear and you’ll come to see how much fun it is to make money in your jammies.
I love it! You will, too.

So, I could go into my Uncle Sal routine… My name’s Marcello, after all.
But I won’t. I’ll leave that to Sal.
What I can tell you is that I understand how the recession is affecting all of us. It sucks!
I can’t tell you how I feel when I hear them say, “Gas is only $3.73 a gallon!” And… what’s your point, right? Higher gas, higher food, and we’ve been watching it come at us, while the current administration kept saying that there was nothing wrong.
Yeah, right. Any idiot could see that things were declining. Hmm… Maybe that explains a lot, eh?
But I live in Florida. I can’t sell my house because it’s not worth the mortgage anymore. It’s lost 2/3 of its value. Luckily, I like where I am and can ride it out, but how many can’t?
How many of you are facing foreclosure because gas is eating your mortgage payment, but you can’t drive less because you need to get to a job that still doesn’t pay the bills?
Sucks.
I’m no different.
I’m trying to make a living online, and have been luckier than most.
And trust me, if I can conquer Internet Marketing, so can you. Want to know how?
Tellman, Shawn Casey, and Harris Fellman have come up with the answer. Totally. I’m on the inside. I know what the product is about. IT WILL WORK FOR YOU!
WHACK THE RECESSION!!!
Don’t take any more shit.
Whack that recession in the cajones and get back to a normal life.
You can do it!

Go now and check things out.

Vacation is great, but payback, well… you know what they say.
So, we’re doing another launch at OE, which is always fun, but you know how launches go. Frantic city. So, a little of that, and…
Tonight, a Q&A call with my list and anyone who wants to be on my list. Show up at this link for now http://instantTeleseminar.com/?eventid=3865080 , but get on board for news of the next one and replays. I don’t usually post links in my blog. I just rushed this one out so fast that I want to be sure everyone knows.
Then, tomorrow will be totally cool. I’m having “The Faster Webmaster,” Erik Stafford on a call with me. Erik has a really great site, where he lays out everything about getting an Internet Marketing business up and running in exquisite, highly-organized detail. If you’re just learning the IM stuff, you need to hear Erik’s call.
Register at http://Blogging4Boomers.com and I’ll send you all the information. It’s going to be great! Plus, Erik has a very cool surprise that he’s giving away. It’s totally worth the effort.
Next week, we’re turning the tables and Erik is interviewing me. More details on that to follow, but it will be information packed, just as always. I think I’m a teacher at heart. Always loved the role. I actually taught writing for children for more than 5 years, so I guess it’s my thang. I love helping folks figure things out.
So, that’s it. Busy, busy couple of week. Stay tuned for more info.
And Thursday, Ayyyyyyyyyyyy… It’s Big Sal, the Tell, and Shawn. Should be interesting, eh? Wonder what’s up their muscle-Ts.
Will somebody please get Tellman out of that trunk? I’m concerned.

So, I’m like having a vacation week next week, at least from my regular job. It’s been 2 years since I took any time off at all. Unreal. I feel like an Internet Marketing automaton.
And two weeks ago, decided… This has to stop. Just for a while.
I wake up in the middle of the night and think: Lord, I never wrote back to the guy asking me to coach him. And then, I promised I’d promote this thing, that thing, and that other thing. Oh yeah, and the content has to be updated at Blogging4Boomers? (Like my new banner? I have absolutely no clue how to make it clickable. Help! Anyone.)
And so, worrying about such stuff when I should be sleeping means that Pat’s had enough for a few days–at least.
If you don’t see me, don’t worry. As the Governator once said, “I’ll be back!”

I remember when Traffic Geyser first opened. Tellman had Mike Koenigs on a call with us and we were all like, cool. Sounds like it can be a useful site. That was almost 2 years ago.
If you don’t know what Traffic Geyser is all about, it’s a video distribution site. You upload your video one time and Traffic Geyser does the rest for you. You can upload it to like 30 video sites now, the audio to like 16 podcasting sites, and bookmark it in 10 social bookmarking sites at the same time. How cool is that?
Wasn’t that big when they started out, and why I said it keeps getting better.
Plus, when you upload the video, you get to add tags, a good SEO title and a description which goes along with it to whatever site you submit it to via TG.
The biggest downside is that you have to go and join all the video sites, podcasting sites, etc. Still, it’s a small price to pay for getting the tool to work for you. Very powerful stuff.
Oh, and I forgot. It will distribute to blogs, too. You can choose from some of the hosted solutions or even customize and have it sent to your stand-alone WordPress blog. Kewl?
If you’re using video and not using Traffic Geyser, you’re wasting a WHOLE lot of time.

Yes, I’ve written a few press releases in my day. I’ve published a few, too, back in my editor days, but I love what they can do for your business in terms of getting traffic. If you haven’t written one, they aren’t terribly difficult, either.
First and foremost, you need a good hook.
That’s exactly like a headline. So, if you’re good at writing headlines, you have half the battle nailed.
I like to tie my headlines in to something that people might currently be searching for. So, I cruise the headlines in the news. Of course, you have to tie your headline to the body of the press release or it won’t work.
I go to places like Google News and Excite or Yahoo to find the choice headlines, and the trick is to find something people are searching for. Right now, it could be Obama, Batman, or there’s always the fuel crisis.
Just be very careful how you do it or the release won’t be approved. If you can work a legitimate tie-in, though, you’ll be cool. Like, if you’re talking about Batman, you’d better have a gothic product or something superhero-like. I think that would be kind of hard.
Last year, when we were launching The ListBuilding Club, I did one for Tellman that said he was opening the club with more tricks than Harry Potter, which was out at the time, and then went on to say that Tellman’s not a magician, but he has more marketing tricks than a tutor at Hogwart’s. All worked out, you see?
Anyway, that’s my tip for the day. Have fun coming up with cool ways to get people interested. They may not even know that they want to know about your cool news, but well… when they get there, they just might be highly interested, eh? Get as many people reading your releases as you can.

I don’t know about you but I’m a huge fan of Brad Fallon’s Free Line Report. Actually, whatever Brad does is always stellar, and I always read his SEO blog, even before StomperNet, but this video short is something you can watch in a couple of minutes and get some really awesome stuff!
Yesterday, for example, Brad turned readers (watchers… it’s a video and written blog) on to several free video sites that rock. I’m trying out Jumpcut right now to see how it does with video editing. But he mentioned five totally great resources for photo and video bugs. They were each interesting and awesome in their ways.
Today, we got stuff about Firefox 3.01, which I didn’t know was out. (Thanks, Brad. You made it easy to jump on over and get the update.) But he also gave us stuff about ClipMarks (OK, I knew about that one, and BTW, your link is broken.), a tab solution, and one very interesting plugin that keeps you abreast of the competition called Niche Watch. Only problem there is that it’s for older versions of Firefox, and I totally love SEOQuake, even if it’s not working so hot with Google searches right now.
But that’s neither here nor there.
Brad Fallon gives great content every week day and I just love it. In fact, if you follow Brad on Twitter, you can see the minute the report comes out. Pretty sweet.

Ha! Who’d have believed I’d say that?
Well, it’s true. When you start thinking about how you can help other people and stop trying to make money so hard, it just comes to you. It just appears! Really.
Yesterday, I actually turned a customer away. I know this wonderful lady (she’s a real sweetheart), and I know that she’s not ready for the stuff in my site. It’s a little more advanced, for people who understand more than she does at this point.
I remember what that was like. Everything seemed incredibly complicated and I just wanted someone to lead me by the hand and tell me what to do. I think it’s really cool that she trusts me to be that person.
So, I sent her to the best place for that online. Really.
It’s not my site. Yes, I’m an affiliate for it, but I get about half of what I would had I signed her up for my site. I mean, it wasn’t fiscally smart.
It was people smart.
When you get someone into something they can’t handle, just for the money, they come to distrust you. They figure what you gave them is bull because they can’t understand it at that point in their education. They get frustrated and they back away from you.
So, you see, by being people smart instead of money smart, you get a customer and a friend. That’s something money can’t buy.
Right?
