So, have you been over to ListBuilding.com yet? No? Well…

You’re missing a sh*tload of great content. Shawn Casey, Tellman, and the whole OE team has been hard at work for the past few weeks creating all this stuff. You’ll find some basic tech stuff, mindset stuff, free reports, case studies of how well it’s working for other people, and even a gun.

GASP!

Yes, a gun.

OK… so some people hate guns, and are complaining that they have no place in Internet marketing or anywhere else. They’re sending comments and hate mail. I guess it’s OK for the criminals to have guns and people in danger should just wait like sitting ducks to be killed or maimed or whatever.

Brilliant!

But that’s not my point. (And not necessarily the views of the company. Personal views here, folks.)

My point is that there’s a whole lot of great, great stuff at ListBuilding.com and if you aren’t registered to get in on it, you’re nuts or lazy or both. So, go right now and watch that video that caused all the trouble.

So, I wrote about JVAlert yesterday and here come some great people I met making comments, like Paul Easton, who I got to spend some time with and really, really enjoyed, and Stuart Tan, who totally rocks, but I got to spend hardly any time with at all. That’s my mission next time, Stuart. :-)

But at the end of all that came the traditional comments from people in the audience and whatnot, right? People were standing up making these awesome statements about what they’d learned and how the conference had affected them. Jeff Wellman was totally inspiring. (And he’s a pretty funny guy, totally.)

But then came this sweet dark-haired girl who for some reason, I’d missed. I had just about met everyone in the room. She started by telling us about her site, which helps you to make video squeeze pages, which to me, is ultra cool. And then, she mentioned that she was about to lose her home to foreclosure. And she started crying.

Oh… my… god…

She asked for JV partners to promote for her, so I like, totally rushed up to the front of the room to give her my business card along with about 20 other people, at least. It was just an extremely moving moment. One of those that makes you see how “family” JVAlertLive can be.

So, I promoted for her yesterday. Tons of people signed up for her site! Was I happy? Of course. I mean, I don’t even know this woman really, but it just felt really, really good to help. Oh, and I made some money along the way, which wasn’t too bad, either. :-)

If you want to check out her site, it’s at http://easyseotricks.com/VOP

She did an awesome job with it and she’s got a really good product. Heck, I bought it!

Check it out, if nothing else. I’m sure it will improve your list size by leaps and bounds.

Kathleen, you rock!

Yes, I know. It’s been very quiet here in Marcelloland.

I’ve been working like a Tasmanian She-Devil spins on something very special.

But I want to get my sales letter to be just right so that people understand what my new site has to offer. I want them to appreciate the value.

And it’s damned hard.

Copywriting isn’t my strong suit. Maybe because I’m a straight writer, and I’m just used to presenting the facts in what I hope is an interesting way. I just can’t seem to make the transition from talking to people to getting inside their heads and telling them what they want to hear. Isn’t that really what copywriting is about?

So, it’s hard for me, and I’ve had some of the very best teachers in the biz. It’s rather embarrassing! :-)

I just want to say, look… I know a LOT. I can teach you a LOT, and it’s stuff that will help you to make money and to have a very strong online business. But that doesn’t quite cut the muster, now does it? LOL

But it’s the truth. I love to teach.

In fact, I was on a call last night with more than 280 people doing just that with Brian Edmondson. He does bi-monthly calls, usually just question and answer calls for The List Building Club and either I or Kyle Battis help to keep him company and from having poor Brian’s throat close from talking so long. We were on for 2-1/2 hours last night! Anyway, it’s something I love to do, and something you can benefit by.

If you haven’t signed up for The List Building Club yet and you’re new and still struggling, you’re wasting time. Go over to http://listbuildingpower.net right now and get a month’s membership for $1. You’ll see the value immediately. That club rocks, and I’m not saying that from a purely subjective stance. Even if I had nothing at all to do with that site, I’d still say that it’s the best newbie site online, hands down.

But that’s what I’m interested in doing for the blogging world. If you’re new to blogging, add my feed to your reader right now. Bookmark this site. Get on my mailing list above.

This is going to be da bomb!
