Matt Bacak’s Conference Was THE Best… Ever
I really love going to conferences. Not only are they a great way to meet people face to face and to build relationships, but you learn a lot or at least get some great ideas while you’re there. I scripted a video that I’m going to use as a sales letter while I was there, and I’m thinking it should do pretty well. (Hoping, anyway.)
And I’ve been to different types of conferences: JVAlert (which I love because it’s like a family), StomperNet, Bill Harris and Brad Antin’s “How to Think Like a Marketer,” and Michael Penland’s Super Conference. All of them were great for different reasons.
But…
I have never been to a “Legends of Internet Marketing” type conference. I mean, usually there are a few big names but we’re talking every single presenter! And the other folks there were the rest of the IM world. It was a real concentration of Internet marketing POWER!
On Saturday morning Marshall Sylver presented, and I have to say I’ve never seen him in person. Wow! It was a real treat. For me, it wasn’t what he taught, it was how he presented. Smooth, baby. He rocked the house! And when it came time for people to go to the back of the room, at least a quarter of the people in the audience did just that. He was that good.
